TVCd: Pressure over Vacuum Casting Machines - Double Chamber

These units are designed to meet the severest of needs in lost wax casting production. They work with a revolutionary double chamber concept. This innovative concept has several advantages compared to traditional single chamber suction systems currently available in the market. In the TVCd, the melting chamber and flask chamber are completely independent. At the time of casting, the machines control the metal injection into the mold by applying a differential pressure whilst pouring.

This yields a considerably faster and more accurate injection compared to conventional gravitational pouring. It also gives the benefit of being able to cast pieces at lower temperatures. This results in better surface finish of the cast jewelry.

The casting cycle is extremely short, lasting only a few minutes. While one flask is cooling down in an inert atmosphere to avoid oxidation, the second charge can be loaded into the crucible and melted, thus overlapping two cycles for time optimization. It can cast up to 10 cycles per hour.

TVC 10D : For Mass Production

This machine also works with the revolutionary double chamber concept. This innovative system gives has several advantages compared with the traditional single chamber suction system. One can use a plain steel flask instead of the perforated flask, which is safer (metal cannot spill out), cheaper and easier to fill with the investment slurry (no tape needed around the flask). The size of the flask can reach up to 400mm (16 inches) in height compared to the max 250mm (10 inches) normally used in other casting machines. Topcast machines are the only ones in the world offering this feature. This can save more than 200g of gold per flask and more than 40% in consumables like graphite and inert gas consumption. The casting cycle lasts only 3 minutes and, while one flask is cooling down in an inert atmosphere to avoid oxidation, the second charge can be loaded into the crucible and melted, thus overlapping two cycles for time optimization. The machine is fully automatic, and has over 100 in built programs suitable for all types of alloys.
