Pandora restructures its business, cuts jobs

Pandora Jewelry is restructuring its international business reducing staff by atleast 180 and shutting shops in certain key markets.

According to a spokesperson of the company, the new structure is destined to bring thier global headquarters closer to the local markets of operation and consumers feedback can be ensured to come in quickly to develop innovations and ideations.

He added, “The reorganisation will reduce organisational complexity, enable Pandora to execute with more speed and agility, and add critical capabilities required to support growth.”

Pandora management confirmed 180 roles would be made redundant in the restructuring.

The recent epidemic COVID-19 has led to closure of atleast 30 Pandora stores in Italy which is Pandora’s third largest market.
