Marking six decades of excellence in the natural diamond industry, Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK) commemorated its 61st anniversary with “Parivarotsav 2025” — a grand event that underscored the company’s deep-rooted values, commitment to sustainability, and a people-centric approach to business.
The celebration brought together notable dignitaries, government representatives, and industry leaders to honour SRK’s remarkable journey. A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of two major solar power projects: a 6 MW plant in Akala village and a 0.814 MW facility in Amod. These initiatives will supply renewable energy to SRK’s cutting-edge manufacturing facilities — SRK Empire and SRK House — propelling the company further towards its net-zero emissions goal and reinforcing its status as a pioneer in sustainable diamond manufacturing.
Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya, applauded SRK’s nation-building contributions and environmental leadership. “Service is a cultural cornerstone in India, and the sense of family sustains our societal fabric. Parivarotsav reflects how shared values can shape corporate and societal advancement,” he noted. He also referenced India’s global vaccine outreach during the COVID-19 pandemic as an embodiment of the ethos “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — the world is one family.
In a compelling session on truth and leadership, veteran journalist Rajat Sharma praised SRK Chairman Govindbhai Dholakia’s role in nurturing talent and building a purpose-driven organisation. “What distinguishes SRK is its culture of treating employees as family,” Sharma said.
Adding a spiritual dimension to the event, celebrated speaker Jaya Kishori inspired attendees with her reflections on devotion, purpose, and inner strength. “There is nothing more personal than one’s family. That sense of belonging gives deeper meaning to both life and work,” she shared.
SRK Chairman Govindbhai Dholakia, addressing the audience, emphasised the organisation’s philosophy: “Our progress has always been aligned with simplicity, discipline, and sincerity. We cultivate an environment free from addiction and exploitation, where ethical living leads our way forward.”
In a heartfelt tribute to its workforce, SRK also extended financial aid of ₹20 lakh each to the families of employees who had passed away unexpectedly — a gesture that reaffirmed the company’s holistic approach to employee care.
Today, SRK's facilities hold the distinction of being the world’s first in the diamond industry to achieve net-zero energy certification. The company continues to blend technological innovation with an unwavering focus on ethics, devotion, and enduring relationships.
Celebrated in April — a month that honours both the company’s founding and diamonds as the birthstone — Parivarotsav 2025 stood as a powerful testament to SRK’s enduring legacy and future-forward vision.
