De Beers Group has announced the appointment of Mallikarjuna Reddy Yarabolu as Managing Director of Forevermark India, effective January 2026, as the company steps up its expansion in India’s growing diamond jewellery market.
Yarabolu brings over two decades of leadership experience across fashion, retail, FMCG, and luxury sectors. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Arvind Fashions Limited, where he led sales and revenue strategy for brands including U.S. Polo Assn., Arrow, and Flying Machine. During his tenure, he played a key role in stabilising and transforming the business, a contribution he acknowledged publicly while announcing his exit from the company.
Prior to Arvind Fashions, Yarabolu spent six years at Nestlé India, managing diverse food service and retail formats such as Maggi Hotspots, KitKat Break Zones, Milk Booths, and Nescafé kiosks. In this role, he oversaw a nationwide network of more than 750 outlets. His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Walmart India, and Godrej Agrovet.
The appointment aligns with De Beers’ strategy to strengthen Forevermark’s presence in India, now the world’s second-largest market for natural diamond jewellery. Having evolved from a loose diamond brand into a branded jewellery retailer, Forevermark plans to open 15 new stores in 2025 and scale to nearly 100 outlets by 2030.
With India’s diamond jewellery demand driven by rising incomes, premiumisation, and organised retail growth, Yarabolu’s expertise in channel expansion is expected to be central to Forevermark’s next phase of growth.
