11th edition of Delhi Jewellery & Gem Fair: A Sparkling Display of Glamour, Innovation, and Lucrative Business Prospects

Informa Markets in India, the leading organiser of B2B events across India, is all set to host the 11th edition of the esteemed Delhi Jewellery & Gem Fair ( DJGF ). Recognised as North India's preeminent international trade show for the jewellery sector, DJGF is scheduled to take place in Hall 2, 3, 4, & 5 GF at the Pragati Maidan venue in New Delhi from September 30th to October 2nd, 2023.

This event, well-recognized as North India's premier international jewellery trade show, will bring together over 550 exhibitors for what promises to be an impressive display of jewellery, ranging from classic to contemporary styles, catering to a wide spectrum of tastes and preferences. Spread across 2.60 lacs sq feet space in 4 halls, DJGF stands as one of the biggest and an invaluable platforms for networking, business, learning, and staying abreast of industry trends.

Speaking on the announcement of the 11th edition of DJGF, Mr Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India said, “ The Gems and Jewellery industry has emerged as a pivotal contributor to India's economy. It constitutes 7% of the GDP and 15.71% of total merchandise exports, making it a rapidly growing sector. This translates into significant foreign exchange earnings and employs over roughly 5 million skilled and semi-skilled workforce across organised and unorganised segments, illustrating its economic and employment impact.”

1. India's Biggest Lab-grown Diamond Pavilion: The 11th edition of DJGF proudly introduces India's largest pavilion dedicated to lab-grown diamonds. This pavilion promises to be a nexus of cutting-edge technology and ethically sourced gems, redefining the landscape of modern jewellery.

2. DJGF Silver Launch in Hall 2: Adding a new dimension to the fair, we are thrilled to introduce DJGF Silver, a dedicated platform showcasing the splendour of silver jewellery. Housed in Hall 2, this exclusive silver show runs parallel to DJGF, offering attendees an enriched experience with a diverse array of exquisite silver creations.

3. DJGF Rising Star Pavilion: A hallmark of this edition, the DJGF Rising Star Pavilion stands as a testament to our commitment to fostering emerging talent within the jewellery industry. This dedicated platform provides a stepping stone for rising jewellery industry players, offering them the spotlight and recognition they deserve as they take significant strides in shaping the industry's future.

4. DJGF Shakti Awards 2024: An event dedicated to celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of women in the gems and jewellery industry. Taking place on October 1st, 2023, this gathering will be a tribute to the remarkable women achievers who have displayed unwavering dedication, tireless effort, and remarkable resilience in their respective fields.

5. DJGF Samvad in collaboration with SVAR: A captivating podcast series delving into the inspiring journeys of industry influencers.

The Fair is supported by renowned associations such as The Bullion & Jewellers Association, Delhi Delhi Jewellers Association, Karol Bagh Jewellers Association, Maliwara Jewellers Association and All Jewellery Associations of North India.

The show will see impressive participation from the buyer-seller community from States such as Delhi, Haryana , Chandigarh , Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand , Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir neighbouring states from North India and other parts of the country. It will provide networking and expansion opportunities to Jewellery wholesalers, retailers, importers, exporters, Jewellery manufacturers, diamonds, gemstones, Pearl suppliers, traders, precious metal and Jewellery mounting traders and suppliers, and representatives from trade and governmental organisations. Over 1500+ brands with products of different styles and designs ranging from Gold, Diamonds, Gemstones and pearls, and Silver to Loose stones categories, Mughal antique, Polkis, Kundan and Navratna jewellery along with machinery, Tools and equipment, Technology & allied services will be exhibited at the event.

The DJGF is set to host knowledge seminars, wherein industry experts will be sharing their insights on the jewellery business and its growth in the country. Some of the topics include – ‘Past, Present and Future of Jewellery industry’, ‘Ecommerce Masterclass: Frontiers of the Future in Jewellery Retail’ and ‘Creation, evolution and usage of lab-grown diamonds’. The DJGF event will showcase the Retail Jewellers Guild Awards, honoring outstanding jewelry retailers in multiple categories, with over 40 companies taking part and more than 300 nominations received. Additionally, there will be a Fashion Show Night, spotlighting pioneering brands, innovative designs, and their latest jewellery collections.
