More than 1,000 exhibiting brands will be taking part at Vicenzaoro 2022, the international gold and jewellery show organised by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group, to be held at Vicenza Expo Centre from 17th to 21st March 2022 together with T.Gold, the international exhibition of technologies and machinery for the jewellery industry, and VO'Clock Privé, the contemporary watchmaking lounge (18-20 March).

Vicenzaoro, which fills the IEG exhibition centre to the brim, is the event at the beginning of the year that will offer Europe the first chance to physically see the latest ideas and trends of 2022. One location and one single moment for the entire gold and jewellery industry to meet "All at Once", as the claim of this edition highlights. And the trends will be set by the creations in the ICON community which hosts luxury jewellery brands, together with the original proposals of The Design Room.

Among the companies in attendance is Fope, whose distinctive feature, the iconic gold link chains made flexible thanks to a patented innovation of small springs, is recognised the world over. The company will be appearing at Vicenzaoro in the wake of an extremely positive 2021. For 2022, the brand will be presenting a new gold link characterised by a fresh design in an athleisure interpretation. And if in this case the main focus will be necklaces and earrings, the success of Essentials (a line launched in 2021) continues, offering a new colourful development with Flex'it rings and a version with precious details of the most popular Flex'it bracelets, models designed for both men and women to become must-haves representing the very essence of FOPE.

Another veteran presence will be Roberto Coin, which, in addition to its most iconic collections, will also be presenting new creations in the Navarra line inspired by the royal coat of arms of the Spanish region, with 16 chains arranged in a halo and topped by a glorious crown. For women with a fighting spirit, Roberto Coin offers jewellery with a rigorous and essential design, dominated by chains and yellow gold with a diamond chosen as the only element to illuminate some pieces in the collection. The soft chains are all handmade, as are the double click mechanisms and diamond settings, while 3D technology comes into play to give solidity and perfection to the collection's rigid bracelets and rings.

The LIKE Chromatic collection by Crivelli evokes and recalls the colours of nature and its strength, encapsulating the brand's values - and the company's identifying C in the silhouette: craftsmanship, uniqueness and elegance. The new collection combines essential design with the brilliant hues of hard stones such as malachite, carnelian, onyx, coral, turquoise and mother-of-pearl.

Space will also be given to creations by Fabergè, one of the most iconic art jewellery companies whose series of extraordinary jewellery collections, watches and sculpture-objects, such as the famous collection of colourful, sumptuous and precious imperial Easter eggs, are still fashionable today.

Damiani will be presenting its latest ideas and masterpieces with a modern and innovative style, the result of creativity and a passion for the goldsmith's art of a brand that represents a first-rate family tradition.

Next comes the sparkle of jewellery by Annamaria Cammilli, where the soft design, a feature of the Florentine company, and the use of shades of gold and pavé stones are now applied to a new line in the collection: Velaa Color. The design remains minimalist but adds the hues of sapphires, rubies, emeralds and white or fancy diamonds to warm shades of gold. The different elements are combined in a wide variety of colour combinations that play on matching precious stones and the typical velvety finish of gold, one of the Maison's hallmarks.

Top of the range will also be present with Schreiner, a new entry. This German exhibitor is known throughout the world for its Arabian Nights-style pieces found in many royal houses in every country: large necklaces, packed with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires, chokers and earrings, sumptuous rings and top-quality pearls, jewellery for those who are not afraid to show off their wealth and, indeed, want to flaunt it.

Also present on the Vicenzaoro stage will be Nanis with its new idea of a free, contemporary and classy woman; Giovanni Ferraris, which shows a marked preference for original shapes and bright colours; Gismondi 1754, a seven-generation family-run company where creativity and excellent craftsmanship meet, drawing inspiration from Ligurian suggestions, and Serafino Consoli, with rings that widen to become bracelets, thanks to a patent and a refined technique.

The gold district of Valenza will also be exceptionally represented by Leo Pizzo, Palmiero and Picchiotti, international benchmarks of Italian jewellery thanks to sophisticated designs and an impeccable choice of raw materials.

Vicenzaoro's international air is reconfirmed with the Stenzhorn company from Germany and Tirisi from Holland, and even goes to Lebanon with Yeprem, which specializes in diamond-based high jewellery of large dimensions. It then reaches the Basque Country with Damaso Martinez and France with Djula, the brand of international stars, which proposes a "glam rock" style. The French brand Akillis, on the other hand, is a reference point for those who love an aggressive, unconventional design, again for a rock and slightly “Bond girl” woman. Al Coro from Germany, albeit with Italian origins, is also returning to Vicenza. Finally, space will be given to the original pearl creations of Yoko London, which explores the full spectrum of colours, such as pink, purple, gold and Tahitian dark grey, using only high quality, untreated pearls.

The Design Room, where Top Independent Designers re-interpret jewellery through their own personal vision of reality, creating products with unprecedented designs, all highly appreciated by the market, will also be back. Creations by Alessio Boschi, JMG Designer, Cedille Paris, Netali Nissim, Gaia Spallanzani and Elena Chernyavskaya Jewelry will be on display.
